This lovely little album will be included in the exhibition I’m curating at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg entitled African American Life and Family.
The album holds tintypes that are about 2 x 3″, so it’s a very small and precious object. It is from the late 19th century.
In the exhibition, it will be in a vitrine, under a plexiglass cover, so I’ll be choosing a page for it to be opened to.
